Diamanto Stylianou is a translator, consecutive interpreter, copywriter, and language professional based in Cyprus. Dedicated to delivering high-quality professional translation, interpreting and copywriting services, she has been a trusted collaborator for companies, NGOs, corporate organisations and firms in Cyprus and internationally since 2009.
Born in 1987 in Limassol, Cyprus, she studied Foreign Languages Applied to Translation (Licence LEA – English, Spanish, French) at the University of Nice – Sophia Antipolis, graduating in 2008. She went on to specialise in Technical Translation at Aix-Marseille University (Master 1 – Métiers de la Traduction, 2009), in Business Translation and in Public Service Interpreting at the University of Surrey, UK (MA in Business Translation with Interpreting, 2010). After completing an internship with the Greek Translation Unit at the European Court of Auditors in Luxembourg, she returned to Cyprus and began her career as a freelancer, providing translation services to private companies, law firms, and NGOs across various fields.
In addition to her career in translation, Diamanto has cultivated a strong interest in the performing arts and the cultural scene in Cyprus. For 12 years (2012-2024), she was actively involved in the production of the island’s major film festivals, hosted by the Ministry of Education and Culture (current Deputy Ministry of Culture).
She has been a regular member of the Pancyprian Union of Graduate Translators and Interpreters since 2009, as well as a member of the Sworn Translators Register of the Ministry of Interior’s Press and Information Office since the enforcement of the new law on Sworn Translators (2019). Her working languages are Greek (native), English, and French.
